How to remove tape residue from your body...?

I had minor surgery a week ago and had reinforced my bandages with bandages tape... I just took the bandages off...and now I have the adhesive in weird patterns on my torso, and i scrubbed it with regular body wash and a loofah but it didn't help.....any suggestions?
