Where can I find the hanboks store in Korea town LA?
I just literally went to Korea Town LA today. Just got back. Too bad I didn't see your question before I went, or I'd have looked for the store for you. I went to Western and Wilshire and walked all the way down to Olympic. The second center you described sounds like the one called Korea Town Galleria which is at the corner of Western and Olympic. You enter through the Olympic side though. I remember seeing the supermarket on the first floor, and the hair salon on the second (which was where I shopped today). The other two centers I checked out are called Rodeo Galleria (Western and 8th), and Korea Town Plaza (Western and San Marino). The Rodeo Galleria is really small. I don't think they would have what you were looking for. But I must admit I don't know what hanboks are. The Korea Town Plaza is huge. It got lots of shops. I actually found what I went to Korea Town for here where I couldn't find anywhere else. Hope that helps. By the way, you can take the red line to Wilshire and Western and walk to these shopping centers. It's very convenient if you don't want to drive, but they got lots of parking available.
