Please ist me Before I Have to Register Myself Into a Mental Health Clinic!?

I was working on a doent and I couldn't have been more proud, but MS Word ruined it for me. I was going to start a disk defrag but realised that I forgot to close word. So I pause it to close word and it stops responding, I wait, then it asks me if I want to save I press yes, wait...wait...wait...wait... So I decide (being the stupid retard I am) to just end the process myself form the task manager. I want to go in and make sure it saved, it reverted to my last save which took out a whole fraction of the story that I can't rebuild because when I write I don't use rough drafts it just comes to me. I lost a good part that I won't be able to rewrite because it will look like crap next to my old one. I used Recuva and recovered more crap and it asks me to choose encoding which doesn't work, so what do I do?! Did it not save? Can I recover a doent that didn't save? PLEASE! I DIE WITHOUT IT!
