Lost my better half....HELP?

I used to be amazing best friends with my best friend, lets call her Penelope. I could be myself in front of Penelope, same with her. We were inseperable. We met and were friends for 3 years and now she decided to not be friends anymore. She decided to find a boy to love instead of hang out with her best friend. We slowly drifted far apart. I miss her STILL and its been about a year.. I have this feeling she thinks she is better than I, she wont even RECONSIDER being my friend, it breaks my heart so much. She is dating my ex who ripped my heart to shreds, and I think she feels powerful for it. She thinks she is so metal, and a and better because she is 18 and I am only 17.. Its this hate/love emotion I have for her. It hurts badly and I dont know how to get over it. The last time I saw her i actually helped her find her bag and she was drunk so she was crying saying she's sorry, but i never heard from her after that night. I hurt...how can I move on...Im a girl too ..
