Did anyone on Bcp's have a period that came unusually late? Can you tell me what was the problem?

I am not trying to get preggie but i had a real rough month and forgot like three pills consecutively at least 3 times out of this month. i am on on yasmin, so my period comes on the EXACT same day every month as it has been for a year. however this month it didn't come until tuesday evening, and when it came it was really dark, non-flowing and not enough to fill out a sanitary napkin. this is highly unusual. can anyone tell me if they went through something similar and what was the prob?
