Can my long distance relation ship work?

I went to SIUC in a relationship. After meeting and mingling with different people, my views on the relationship change. I came home during Thanksgiving break, not wanting to be in the relationship anymore. This doesn't mean your relationship will dissolve like mine. Relax, he is going to meet different people while at SIUC. It is up to him to want the relationship to last. He might see someone who is better looking and can relate differently to him. If he is loyal to you that person would not matter. FYI SIUC has a pre-nursing program, SIUE has the nursing program. You might be spending time away from each other again after you finish the program. I doubt if he wants to transfer to SIUE after getting a taste of SIUC. My advice talk to him about your feelings so that he understands. If you say he loving and dependable than don't worry about him cheating. Once he goes to SIUC, if you hound him all the time, he will cheat. Just relax, you trust him right?
